Sunday Stash #13

Sunday, September 11th, 2011

Today’s Sunday Stash is a must is every fabric stash.  It is Dumb Dots by Michael Miller in Spice.  Why is so special about this fabric.  Well, I have always considered dots to be an staple in any stash.  They are just very useful. You can use them to line a small bag, for appliqué, to add a nice border to a quilt or bunting, etc.  Of course spotty designs can be use in large projects, you will only need to look at the High Street and see how fashionable they are.

This particular design has a dark chocolate background and rich red spots.   I am sure many of you will see the potential!!!

Have a lovely weekend!

Sunday Stash #12

Well, you may have noticed that we have been a little quiet for a while, and soon we will tell you why; however in the meantime we can tell you that we have had a great weekend with wonderful visits to the park and drooling by the ice cream stall.  So the fabric for today’s Sunday Stash couldn’t be any other but Tarika in Gem.  Those colours remind me so much of all the different jars full of sweets and ice cream parlours, and invariably put a smile on my face.

This Sunday and Monday you can treat yourself to this charming design, and maybe add another from the same collection, Kumari Gardens, or one of Sweet Nothings by Riley Blake that seem to work together so well!

I am very happy to offer you this fabric at a special price.  This voile is my favourite of three that we have in stock.  Mixed Signals by Anna Maria Horner is a very simple design and the colours are striking.  Apologies for the bad photos but this voile has a fabulous sheen and I am not a pro at taking photos, so you would have to excuse me.

I wish I could explain you with words you would have to touch this fine cotton voile to experience its soft feel and its delicate drape.

I would love a maxi dress using this or a loose blouse, you wouldn’t nee any accessories to go because the fabric is doing it all for you.  Saying that, there are may other smaller projects using cotton voiles now, a comfy throw or a delicate little purse could be a good way of using this fabric.

I close for now and let you enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Have a good one :)

Sunday Stash #10

This week’s chosen fabric is Alice, a bold design of big big flowers.  I quite like using this fabric showing the whole pattern, like a big cushion that makes a big statement; but in the last few months I have also seen using big patterns in quilting, mainly used for the sashing, and I think it is a great idea and also something different.  Whatever you want to use it for, this fabric is at a very reduced price for a limited time.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Are you having a good weekend?  Mine started early and wow! it would be so wrong to complain!  Lovely guests, good weather (most of the time), lots of food, fantastic wine, and a bit of shopping, not much because I can’t run out of funds because there is new fabric coming in September and I don’t want to disappoint you.

Enough of that and let’s go straight to the point.  Today’s Sunday Stash are two fabrics that I adore.

Sandi Henderson’s Farmer’s Market fabrics have bold design, great colours, and they can take you gracefully into autumn, check them out and let me know what you think.

To compensate from not having a sale last weekend, this weekend we have two fabrics on the Sunday Stash Sale.  Both are pink, both are ultra cute, both with flowers, but they are completely different from one another.

Milly in Pink is back in stock and proving to be as popular as the first time round.

Cafe Mocha in Red has been loved by many, and some even have come back for more.  We have only have a couple of metres left, so today and tomorrow is a good chance to get this adorable design.

Apologies for the lack of photos, but the links will take you to the pages with photos for both fabrics.

Enjoy the weekend!

Sunday Stash #6

I don’t want to describe this fabric because the design is just so……., well, so cool that I decided it is better to leave it to images to do the work.  The only thing that I can add is that this beautiful cotton voile, Turn of Events in Indigo by Anna Maria Horner is the chosen fabric for this Sunday Stash Sale.

Actually, I just couldn’t resist to say that it has the softest feel and a fabulous drape.

Happy Shopping!

PD  Just a quick reminder about shipping here.

Sunday Stash #5

Sunday, July 3rd, 2011

Today’s Sunday Stash offer is a bit different and I hope you like it.  Instead of offering a fabric at a reduced price, we are giving you fabric for free.  Yeap, you read it right, free fabric.

If you buy 1 metre of Zoo in Stone of Central Park collection you will get half a metre of Cobblestone in Stone for free.  There is no need of any discount code or voucher, for every metre of the first fabric you will receive half a metre of the other one free of charge.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

As usual, minimum purchase is 50cm, sale last until midnight Monday 27th June, 2011.
