We understand how important your personal information is for you. We will treat all your Personal Information as confidential and it is only lawfully used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We will never sell, trade, or give away any customer information, under any circumstance; this also includes the information from our newsletter subscribers.
If you have changed your mind about receiving our newsletter, just unsubscribe and we will take you off from our list.

Your personal information will only be collected to give you the best service we can provide you to process and ship your order, once the order has been processed we will not contact you again. If we need to contact you, we will contact you via email first. If unsuccessful (or time is critical), we will try to contact you by phone.

There are times when we may request information from you, such as your, name, address and e-mail address. When additional information is requested, we will try to let you know at the time of collection how we intend to use the personal information you provide, such as respond to your inquiry, accept an order, conduct a survey or allow you to access specific information such as account information, etc.


The privacy and security of your personal and payments details is one of our priorities, and we are commited to provide a safe and secure shopping experience. We do not store any financial details from our customers.

Our website has a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate and uses SSL technology in order to ensure a secure shopping environment. A small padlock in the lower right hand corner of the browser and the https in the address bar of the browser are proofs that all your details are safe. If you donít see these, please contact us immediately.

The Fabric Loft regards site security as a priority and utilises the latest technology to protect all details supplied to the site. Customer details (including credit/debit card information) are held on the site only until the transaction has been recorded and are protected by encryption using HTTPS protocol with Secure Socket Layer.


We try our very best to make sure that product images represent the real item as much as possible. Unfortunately sometimes colour within the image may appear lighter or darker. If you have any doubts about the colour of one of our fabrics feel free to contact us.


Customer satisfaction is very important to us. If you are in any way unhappy with the products you have received, we will offer an exchange or store credit for you (minus the cost of postage & packing), as long as the products are returned to us in a saleable condition.

All products must be unused, undamaged and in original condition. Please contact us within 5 days of receiving your order to let us know the reason for your return. We have a 15% restocking fee calculated on the sale price of materials only.

Unless the fault is ours, you are responsible for the shipping cost of returning goods to us. Please ensure goods are adequately packaged so that they are not damaged during transit. We must receive your returned goods within 10 business days of contacting us with your request to return goods. We strongly advise that you return goods by recorded delivery or by courier as we cannot accept liability for misplaced or damaged parcels. A proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of delivery.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept exchanges or issue credits for sewing patterns, fabrics purchased on sale or for any piece of fabric less than 1 metre in length.


Because we stock all of our items, all orders are usually processed and shipped within 1-3 business days from receiving payment. In many cases, your items will even ship the same day. A confirmation email will be sent once your order has been shipped. You might cancel your order before this email is sent. If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible.
